Hello world,
I wanted to share a major event that happened in my life a couple years back, as it changed my whole life.
When I was in high school, I was always skipping school, hanging around the wrong ass people. I used to get in a lot of fights, I’ll never forget the biggest one that almost cost me my life. I remember it like it happened a few hours ago. I was at my boys party and we were outside the crib, while my homies were having a smoke . We were now about to walk over to the corner store, I remember mad girls being at the party (so we left a few friends in there) and began to walk over. As we walked, we passed by about 10 guys rocking blue bandanas giving us the Toronto screwface. At the time I had a red suit on at the time (Velour suits were the shit back then) and I got the most looks. As we passed them from a far distance one of my friends got an apple thrown at him by that group, he was intoxicated so he started swearing back at them. That exact instant I pulled out my phone and called whoever was at the party to come out because we had beef. By the time I put my cell down, I was already in a fight. Imagine 10 guys vs. myself, and my other 2 friends. Beer bottles were being tossed over peoples heads, my two friends were laying on the ground while I was fighting as best as I could. Unfortunately that’s when it happened, I got stabbed 3 times, within the 20 seconds of me making that phone call. My friend Dax came out the house and pulled out his night stick (he’s a g) and that’s when things really got heated cause now we were bashing peoples skulls in. My other friend Ray came out the crib and most of the thugs ran away or were on the street bleeding. One of the dudes who had stabbed me was asking us to kill him, because we hit him with the night stick pretty badly, so bad that you could see his skull. I ran into the house and i felt a bit out of it, I looked in the mirror and thought “yea yea I’m cool” . I lifted up my shirt and saw my intestines out of this gaping wound and realized things were alot more serious than I thought. Girls in the house were screaming and by the time cops were called by The Neighborhood Watchers an ambulance had been called over to pick me up. I remember asking the paramedic if I was going to make it through and he looked at me as if he was unsure, but he said he’s was going to try his best. The next thing I remember is me waking up in Sunny Brook hospital in sooo much pain, wrapped up like a mummy.
I was stapled up with 42 staples in my abdomen area and 2 minor wounds stitched on my back. I haven’t been able to eat and process food the same ever since, much less work out. Over the course of time I began working out at the gym, my body wasn’t active in soo long it was as if it forgot what it felt like. Muscle memory was dead and I had to start from scratch. Only recently I’ve seriously taken my ass to the gym, it’s because i can actually do it now without feeling pain from my war scar.
For years after the incident I always contemplated to get my big scar removed with plastic surgery, but after awhile it was like “F- it!”. This is a part of who I am, why would I hide something that has changed my life.
I remember the day the foolishness happened, I wrapped my head with a red bandana and I was in a red suit. I said bye to my mother, and my mom said “When are you coming back” and as a joke I said “Never”. That night my Mom got a call from the hospital saying how I was stabbed and rushed to intensive care and was undergoing surgery. I will never joke again! Geeez LOL. My mom and I have that real joking type of relationship. The day I got stabbed on the way over to the hospital, my mom was listening to FLOW 935 and she said “Ron the radio was playing this song, “Dear Mama” by that hunk 2pac…and I was in tears”. She was worried she would never be able to say bye to her son.
Those were critical times as it was my last year of high-school. I was going to graduate, there was prom, and a lot of other stuff that I could have missed out on. They way decided to start changing my ways was not right away, but when I finally got out of the hospital. I saw all of my boys waiting for me, so we can take our revenge, thats when I was like “Whoaaaa! Chillllllll!”. I didn’t want to hurt my moms so I bought a car, just so I never had to take the subway station back home and live that life of hanging around random places. I had a love for cars and began planning my future which in turn took away from all the bad stuff I was previously doing. I knew I wanted to do music and be in the industry, I just needed to figure out HOW to get in. To me, I know I always had the dopest stories about growing up, a lot of good and bad. It’s those experiences that seriously made me into the man I am today. The next time you listen to my music, now you know the backgrounds behind it and what has inspired me.
This is me, this is my life.

Wow! WOW! WOWWWWW! as my homie Datchickneeks.wordpress.com would say!!!!
really tho, amazing turn out, 500 plus people should up to see local artist showcasing their talents and performing their 5 min pieces.
Max B, on the 1s and 2s, and it was hosted of course by Ty Harper & Rez Digital (OTA LIVE)
It was great for me to see a lot of new faces, and a lot of people I haven’t seen for a while to come together for this cause of good music and good times. Unfortunately for me, i didn’t get to stay to see the whole thing because of a stupid fight that had to break out during Luu Breeze’s performance. Honestly, I think thats just horrible, and i seen the crowd run off, and some left. My ride left, and i had to go at that time, they explained to me ” they value their life”. LOL I can’t be mad at that!
I didn’t get some Footage, I’m sure others will pop up, but I can’t only showcase what I have.
So Enjoy!
